The Triangle

The ceiling fan shadow extending towards him slowly paving the way for the impending darkness. The entire afternoon was a lull, the distant honking along with the rustling leaves of a nearby tree in tune with his heart beat tethered to the harbinger of eternal pain were settling on his ears like a melancholic euphony.  Pigeons happen to frequent the window of his room trying to pry about the triangle. The triangle is somewhat dissimilar to the legendary Devil’s triangle. Its three vertices happen to be desire, punishment and the soul. The one being pulled inside is the social being. The upshot of desire is the deplorable actions involved in fulfilling it, followed by the punishment for the doings. Thus the soul deterioration leads to underwhelm the supreme-being and hence the triangle . The pigeon mockingly leaves his room fluttering its wings as though running away from his insanities. He feels hungry after formulating the socio-geometric theorem and so the clichéd 2 min no...

She exchanged all the pleasantries with me, the entire journey. She was whispering to me the engineering and design of deceptive labyrinth called life, and in it all the civil society living a pipe-dream . Her constant “wooshing” suddenly lulled as the brakes clenched the steel. The horn of the locomotive engine cautioned the arrival of Itarsi. The platform was comparatively less crowded in comparison to the platform of the capital city. Hawkers and vendors shouting tea (my favorite beverage indeed) urged me to slip my hand into my pocket to get my tab, in order to savor its aroma and thus aesthetically please my taste buds. To the reader-after reading this you will surely make an opinion(I guess will be that I am insane) about me please feel free to post it. To start of the dictionary meaning of a friend...(A person you know well, who is not usually a member of your family and you regard him/her with affection and trust). The meaning mentioned here is just for mere knowledge. Well the essence of friendship (justified as it was) from a few mentions of Krishna and Sudama from my childhood recollections (the days when I felt like a feather!), I happen to be in search of it. A few of my ACQUAINTANCES made me believe that I have achieved the desired, as a matter of fact I have but in a slightly different way(I’ll come to that later). The childhood playmates that I thought will grow to be friends (in ...
