FRIEND

Friends is an American sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, which aired on NBC from September 22, 1994 to 2004.

P.S.: This is a recommendation to all those who believe in the blog title.

To the reader-after reading this you will surely make an opinion(I guess will be that I am insane) about me please feel free to post it.

To start of the dictionary meaning of a friend...(A person you know well, who is not usually a member of your family and you regard him/her with affection and trust). The meaning mentioned here is just for mere knowledge.

Well the essence of friendship (justified as it was) from a few mentions of Krishna and Sudama from my childhood recollections (the days when I felt like a feather!), I happen to be in search of it. A few of my ACQUAINTANCES made me believe that I have achieved the desired, as a matter of fact I have but in a slightly different way(I’ll come to that later).

The childhood playmates that I thought will grow to be friends (in the true sense) were long gone along with the park where I used to play that game which every INDIAN has played once in his/her lifetime. Actually the park was renovated with a few benches installed which obstructed the pitch. The change of episode brought me to higher school where schoolmates were the best pals who would listen to you and I turned out to be a faithful audience as well. Here also one of my stupid pre-conceived notions was a hurdle in my search. (Actually I wasn't aware of the notion till a few days back.) The schoolmates continue to share the same old bond, and life brought me to another important chapter where a lot of lessons were learned.

Early college days strangers grow to become roommates and batchmates. Year by year I became fond of few more faces. To be honest that stupid notion no longer existed and I started to believe that the search was finished. The college is that time of the life when maturity and decisiveness comes into play well I sometimes acted immaturely and took some very bad decisions that led to adverse effects plus I never achieved the desired. The regular faces during these four years have become an important part of my life and there are a few who can be counted upon, but the void still lingers.

One is always responsible for one's failure and I myself am to blame to a large extent for my failure in this search its not that the whole world is flawed it is because I am.

I had always restricted my search domain from the very beginning as I was going by the dictionary meaning of the term now that the boundaries are removed I have achieved what I longed, actually I had it since the beginning but never discovered it. My belief in GOD itself is the essence I was in search of.
